Our Story

How Conglobus Started

Conglobus International was founded to address a critical gap in the recovered fiber market: most traders rely on the same traditional sourcing channels, competing on price rather than access. We built a different model — one based on proprietary relationships, direct access to non-obvious supply sources, and deep operational expertise. This is how we scale.

Our team brings together specialists in logistics, international trade, commodity sourcing, and mill relationships. We have built direct connections with 50+ independent recyclers, MRF operators, and warehouse networks across 15+ U.S. states — relationships that most traditional brokers don't access. This network allows us to source 1,500+ containers annually without competing on commodity markets. This gives us the ability to source material that other traders cannot find, and to do it consistently.

We specialize in OCC11 and DSOCC because we believe that depth of knowledge creates competitive advantage. Our team knows the supply chain, the specifications, the seasonal dynamics, and what mills expect — and we use that knowledge to source reliably and execute flawlessly. Our sourcing network is not for sale. It is built on relationships, trust, and operational excellence.

Competitive Edge

Our Sourcing Advantage

Unlike traditional brokers who rely on public auctions and standard channels, Conglobus has built proprietary relationships with independent recyclers, regional MRF operators, and warehouse networks across the U.S. This gives us direct access to supply that is not available through traditional methods.

Direct Relationships

We have built direct relationships with independent recyclers and MRF operators who supply material exclusively to Conglobus. These relationships are built on reliability and fair pricing.

Non-Traditional Channels

We source from independent generators, regional warehouses, and recovery facilities that are not accessible through standard commodity trading channels.

Consistent Quality

Our direct sourcing relationships mean we know the material before it ships. We verify quality at source, not at destination. This reduces risk and ensures mill satisfaction.

Real Operations

Infrastructure Built for Scale

Conglobus operates real warehouse and logistics infrastructure across multiple locations. We don't trade from a desk — we manage physical inventory, quality control, and loading operations. These photos show the operational backbone that enables us to deliver 1,500+ containers annually.

The Team Behind Conglobus

IJ

Isaac Jones

Chief Executive Officer & Founder

Isaac brings over 15 years of experience in logistics, transportation, and international import/export operations. He has worked across multiple companies in the supply chain and trade sector, building deep expertise in freight coordination, customs processes, cross-border commerce, and commodity sourcing.

His background includes direct experience sourcing recovered fiber, managing international shipments, and building relationships with both U.S. generators and international mills. He founded Conglobus to apply that expertise to create a more efficient, transparent, and reliable trading operation.

"We don't compete on price alone. We compete on access, reliability, and expertise. Our sourcing network is our competitive advantage."

Our Extended Team

Beyond the founder, Conglobus works with a network of specialists: logistics coordinators with 10+ years in freight management, sourcing specialists with direct relationships to U.S. recyclers, quality assurance professionals trained in ISRI and TAPPI standards, and international trade specialists familiar with customs, documentation, and mill requirements across multiple markets.

This distributed expertise model allows us to maintain operational flexibility while ensuring that every function — sourcing, quality, logistics, documentation — is handled by someone with deep experience in that specific area.

Our Model

Our Operating Model

Conglobus operates an asset-light trading model focused on what we do best: sourcing, quality verification, and trade execution. We partner with established logistics providers, warehouses, and freight operators to move material from source to destination. This allows us to scale efficiently and maintain focus on our core competency.

Third-Party Logistics

We partner with established logistics providers for warehousing, container loading, and freight coordination. This keeps our overhead low and our focus on trade execution.

Flexible Supply Chain

Without fixed infrastructure, we can source from the best-qualified suppliers for each transaction rather than being tied to a single facility or region.

Focus on Execution

Our value is in sourcing qualified material, verifying quality, coordinating logistics, and ensuring reliable delivery — not in owning physical assets.

What We Stand For

Values That Guide How We Operate

Two Grades Only

We trade OCC11 (PS-11) and DSOCC (PS-12). We do not trade mixed paper, ONP, or other commodities. This means we know the supply chain, the specifications, and the buyer expectations for these two grades specifically.

Full Documentation

Every shipment includes a Bill of Lading, moisture test report (TAPPI T412), certificate of quality, commercial invoice, packing list, and certificate of origin. We treat documentation as part of the product.

Verified Quality

Moisture content is tested per TAPPI T412 standard. Prohibitive and outthrow levels are verified against ISRI grade specifications. Material that does not meet the agreed specs is not shipped.

Payment Security

We work with Letters of Credit (LC at sight), T/T (wire transfer), and CAD (Cash Against Documents). Payment terms are agreed in writing before any material is sourced. Third-party inspection (SGS, Bureau Veritas) is available on request.
